Traces is a configurable feature at the client level. You can enable or disable trace management from the OpsRamp portal.

To enable trace management:

  1. Log in to OpsRamp Portal.

  2. Navigate to Setup > Accounts > Clients.

  3. From the CLIENT page, click Add.
    See Create a Client for more details on how to add a new client.

  4. From the NEW CLIENT page, under the Trace Management section, select Yes to enable trace management.

Once you enable the trace management for a client, you can view the LET’S GET STARTED page as shown below:

  • Set Up Trace Collection
  • Configure Trace Proxy
  • Instrument Your Application To Emit Traces.
