• Budget-based policies cannot be scoped to individual resources; they apply at the account, subscription, or billing group level.
• Notifications may be delayed due to processing time required to aggregate and evaluate cost data.
• Version history for budget-based policies is not retained once a policy is deleted, and its historical versions and configuration details cannot be recovered.
