If a running instance is in an error state or needs to be canceled, you can cancel it, which also removes it from the running instances list.
Perform any troubleshooting activities for a running instance before you cancel it. When an instance is canceled and removed from the running instance list, the process instance details are no longer available.
- Click Automation > Process Definition > Process Instances > Running Instances to view the list of running instances.
- On the Running Instances page, on the row of the process instance you want to cancel, click the actions menu on the right.
- Click Cancel.
- At the prompt, click Yes to confirm and cancel the running instance.
