Introduction

  • The Export functionality allows you to save a metric in CSV or JSON format.
  • The Import functionality allows you to import a CSV or JSON formatted metric file as a metric.

Note: The metrics are exported or imported based on the scope.
If you export metrics at the partner scope, the partner specific metrics are only exported. The client specific metrics are not exported.

Export a metric

Follow these steps to export a metric:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Monitoring > Metrics.

  2. Search for the metric(s) you want to export.

  3. Select the metric(s) and click the Export dropdown.

  4. Select the required format: JSON or CSV. The metric is exported in the selected format.
    Note: If no specific metric(s) are selected before exporting, all the available metrics in the scope will be exported, by default.

Import a metric

Follow these steps to import a metric:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Monitoring > Metrics.

  2. Click the Import dropdown.

  3. Select the required format: JSON or CSV.

  4. Follow the steps to upload the file.

  5. Click Import. The metric is imported and the details are shown in the Import Metrics page.
    If the import fails, a message is displayed with the reason for the failure.
