Save View

Save View stores the current tab — query, filters, columns, sorting, time range — as a named, reusable view. Saved/favorite views appear in the My Traces Views side menu.

Share (and the … → Copy View action) creates a link that reopens the exact view for another user: …/observability-ui/traces?viewId=<id> (with &tenantId=<id> for client context), copied to your clipboard.

The link preserves the full context — query, time range, columns, sorting, filters (error code, Apdex/latency thresholds, metric range/step, compare period), Worst‑Spans settings, and the drill‑down path you came from (selected operation/trace/resource, open panel, tab numbers, navigation stack). The recipient lands on the same page with the same breadcrumb.

Note: The shared view is temporary — use Save View for a permanent, named view.

Export (CSV)

Where a table has an Export action (Operations tables, Trace Explorer), it downloads the rows currently in the grid as a UTF‑8 CSV (respecting current columns/sorting/filters). It does not bypass list limits.
