Share a Dashboard

A dashboard can be shared to roles that have the View Dashboard permission.

Set permissions

  • Enable the View Dashboard permission for the users from: Setup > Accounts > Users and Permissions > Dashboards

Create a role

  • Create a role from Setup > Users and Permissions.

Share dashboard

To share a dashboard, do the following:

  1. Click the Share Dashboard icon from the main dashboard page.
    The Share Dashboard option is available to the user that has created it or to the admin users.
  2. Select the role(s) to which you want to share the dashboard. The Select All option will select all the roles.
  3. Click SHARE. The dashboard is shared with the user(s).

View shared dashboard

You can view a shared dashboard, only if you have the View Shared Dashboard permission. A shared dashboard can be viewed only if the user has the View Shared Dashboard permission.

Edit shared dashboard

A user can edit a shared dashboard only:

  • If the user has the Administrator permission.
