The following dashboards are available.
Private Dashboard
A private dashboard is created by the dashboard owner.
The user can create, edit, and delete a private dashboard if they have the Dashboard Manage permission.
Shared Dashboard
A dashboard shared by a role is called a shared dashboard.
Users belonging to the respective role can update the shared dashboard if they have both Dashboard Manage and Administration permissions.
A partner user can share a dashboard with both partner and client user roles. A client user can share a dashboard with client user roles but cannot share it with partner user roles.
Public Dashboard
A public dashboard is shared with all users.
For Example:
Partner: National INC Client: ITC Client
Case A: If a partner user shares the dashboard in the National INC context (partner context), then all National INC partner users and client users under National INC can access the partner public dashboard. In this context, partner users can update the public dashboard (requires Dashboard Manage with Administration permission), but client users have view-only access and cannot edit the dashboard.
Case B: If a partner user shares the dashboard with all users in the ITC Client context (client context), then all National INC partner users and client users under National INC can access and update the client public dashboard when they are in the ITC Client context.
Case C: If a client user (ITC Client) shares the dashboard with all users, then all ITC Client users (client users) and National INC partner users under the ITC Client context can access and update the client public dashboard if the user has the Dashboard Manage with Administration permission.
