Introduction

Dell PowerVault ME5 series (for example, ME5012) is a dual-controller (Active-Active ULP) block SAN storage array. It is managed through the ME Storage Manager REST API, which exposes the system, enclosures, controllers, ports, drives, disk groups, pools, volumes, and power supplies of the array.

The OpsRamp Dell PowerVault integration uses this REST API to discover the storage array components and monitor their availability, capacity, performance, and usage.

The following helps you get started.
