Risks, Limitations and Assumptions
- The application can handle Critical/Recovery failure notifications for below two cases when user enables App Failure Notifications in configuration
- Connectivity Exception
- Authentication Exception
- The application uses the provided IP Address/FQDN of IBM FlashSystem, Credentials for Spectrum Virtualize Rest APIs communication.
- The application will send any duplicate/repeat failure alert notification for every six hours.
- The application cannot control monitoring pause/resume actions based on above alerts
- OpsRamp has provided 7443 as default Port value for processing IBM FlashSystem Rest APIs. Users can modify this value from application configuration page at any point of time if requires.
- Metrics can be used to monitor IBM FlashSystem resources and can generate alerts based on the threshold values.
- Component level thresholds can be configured on each resource level.
- This application supports both Classic Gateway and NextGen Gateway
- The Template Applied Time will only be displayed if the collector profile (Classic and NextGen Gateway) is version 18.1.0 or higher.
- Latest snapshot metric is available from Gateway version 14.0.0.
