VMware NSX-V

Introduction

VMware NSX‑V is a software-defined networking (SDN) solution designed specifically for integration with the VMware vSphere ecosystem. The deployment of NSX‑V requires core VMware vSphere components, including a vCenter Server and ESXi hosts. This product depends on VMware vSphere and connection with vCenter. Once NSX-V pairs with vCenter, the integration with vSphere is seamless.

Discovery Use Cases

Discovers all the high-level components such as NSX-V Manager, NSX-V Controller, NSX-V Transport Zone, and NSX-V Edge.

Provides monitoring related to availability and usage.
