Risks, Limitations & Assumptions

• The application sends critical and recovery failure notifications for the following scenarios when App Failure Notifications are enabled in the configuration:
  • Connectivity exceptions
  • Authentication exceptions
• The application sends duplicate/repeat failure alert notifications every six hours.
• The application cannot control monitoring pause/resume actions based on alerts.
• Metrics monitor Cisco Catalyst Center resources and generate alerts based on threshold values.
• You can configure component-level thresholds at each resource level.
• The application does not support activity logs and applied time.
• The minimum supported version for Latest snapshot metrics is nextgen-14.0.0.
• Full discovery support requires gateway version 15.0.0 or above.
• The application is incompatible with Cluster Gateway.
• OpsRamp provides 443 as the default port value for processing Cisco Catalyst Center APIs. Users can modify this value from the application configuration page at any time if required.
