Cisco UCS combines industry-standard, x86-architecture servers with networking and storage access into a single unified system.

Step 1: Create a credential
- Select a client from the All Clients list.
- Go to Setup > Accounts > Clients.
- On the client Credentials tab, add the credential information.
Step 2: Configure the integration
- From All Clients, select a client.
- Go to Setup > Integrations > Integrations.
- From Available Integrations, select Compute > Cisco UCS and click Install.
- Enter:
- Name
- IP address
- Credentials. Select an existing credential or create a new credential.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Add a discovery profile
- From the integration, click Add.
- Enter:
- Profile details
- Profile name: Name of the profile.
- Profile: Profile available from the drop-down menu. These are the available gateways for the client. Be sure that the selected gateways is up and running.
- IP address: Host name or the IP address provided from the installation.
- Filter criteria: Required for smart or resource filter types.
- Perform actions: Manage Device option.
- Discovery schedule. Based on the settings, discovery is triggered based on the scheduled time. New resources added to the environment are automatically discovered.
- Profile details
- From the Discovery Profiles section, click Scan Now for the profile.
Next steps
After a discovery profile is created, you can do the following:
- View the integration: Go to Infrastructure > Resources.
- Assign monitoring templates to the resource.
- Validate that the resource was successfully added.
