Introduction
Authentication provides security by verifying that a user has appropriate access permissions. When logging in, the system checks the provided username-password pair against its list of registered users.
You can authenticate using native authentication or one of the following methods:
- Two-factor authentication: Yubico, TOTP, and Duo Security
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
Change your native authentication password
To change your native authentication password, follow these steps:
- Log in to OpsRamp using your current username and password.
- Hover over your avatar in the top-right corner of the page and select Change Password.

- The Change Password display appears.
- Enter your current password, new password, and confirm your new password, then click Update.
Add browser security
Protect your password by declining to save passwords in your browser. When prompted to save the password, take the following browser-specific action:
