AWS EventBridge is a serverless event bus that ingests data from your own apps, SaaS apps, and AWS services and routes that data to targets. You can export data from OpsRamp to EventBridge by configuring the Amazon EventBridge Exporter Integration.

Install AWS EventBridge integration

  1. From All Clients, select a client.

  2. Log in to the OpsRamp portal.

  3. Navigate to Setup > Account.

  4. On the ACCOUNT DETAILS page, select Integrations and Apps.

  5. The INSTALLED INTEGRATIONS page is displayed with all the installed applications.
    Note: If there are no installed applications, it will navigate to the AVAILABLE INTEGRATIONS AND APPS page.

  6. Click + ADD on the INSTALLED INTEGRATIONS page. The AVAILABLE INTEGRATIONS AND APPS page displays all the available applications along with the newly created application.
    Note: You can even search for the application using the search option available. Also, you can use the All Categories option to search.

  7. Click ADD in the AWS EventBridge application.

  8. Click Install on the AWS EVENTBRIDGE INTEGRATION page.

  9. From Install AWS EventBridge Integration page, enter:

    • Name: Name of the Integration.
    • Logo: Uploaded logo depending on the integration type.
  10. Click Install.

Step 2: Configure the Integration

  1. Generate Access Keys for the EventBridge through the AWS console.
  2. Enter the following details in the integration:
    • Access Key ID: Access Key to access the S3 bucket.
    • Secret access key: Secret Key to access the S3 bucket.
    • Bucket Name: Name of the AWS S3 bucket for the export data.
    • Base URI: Data location in the AWS S3 bucket. For example, https://s3.regionName.amazonaws.com.
    1. Click Save.
