Gateway Sync Workflow

SNMP Device Type Definitions are synchronized between cloud and gateway through two trigger paths: Cloud-Initiated and Gateway-Initiated

UI triggers a full push of definitions to a selected gateway.

Gateway sync path:
Setup > Account > Collector Profiles > Select Profile > Actions > Sync SNMP Definitions

Gateway CLI sends last-known timestamps and cloud sends back delta updates.

Synchronization runs through a backend gateway job process and can take up to 8 hours to reflect on gateways.
